Since my only input was my satellite receiver My partner and i wasn’t sure if it had been the receiver or even the TV… so I connected it to the Internet. Again, no sound. At this stage I was ready to phone Mitsubishi when I read a little paragraph on the backed cover page of the install manual…. Technique RESET. Held the electricity button in for 10 seconds and when the TV re-booted… it had SOUND! I think it might be good if they would have made this a little more obvious… wasted a lot of time diagnosing ahead of I WD-82738 realized that this became something that needed to be done.

Only other negative… it says inside Specification Sheet which it has an OPTICAL Digital Audio Output… it isn’t really Optical… or if it really is it sure will not look like my additional optical connections as well as cables that I by now own. I have had this television set for about a month. Wonderful picture. Attractive television set.
