I purchased this one radar detector after driving from california toward michigan plus preparing because of theo- return drive. My wife plus i wanted toward make better time heading back plus i did my research plus had amazon expedite Beltronics V995 Vector Radar toward my dad’s house inside michigan.i have toward say because this one unit met our expectations plus surpassed them. We drove through michigan, indiana, illinois, iowa, nebraska, colorado, utah, nevada, arizona, plus california plus we were warned of police with their radar upon way before we ever saw them. We received very few false alarms plus only when we were off theo- highway. We can definitely say without a doubt because this one detector saved us from at least 3 tickets over theo- 24 hours of driving. If you are taking a road trip plus plan upon driving over theo- speed limit you cannot be without a radar detector of some kind, plus this one one worked significant because of us. The voice alerts were significant plus theo- included smart chord was very useful. Btw, here is some of theo- experience we gained from theo- trip, plus this one is applicable toward any detector: if k or x band radar is detected then it could easily be a automatic door opener or one of those roadside units because theo- police set up because tells you how fast you are going, but it could just as easily be a cop too, you never know until you see theo- source of theo- radar.
